Asia Mieczkowska

Biography

Asia Mieczkowska is the Interim Chief Operating Officer at RENCI. In this role, she manages the day-to-day operations of RENCI and oversees the Office of the Director Coordination Team (OOD-CT), the Research Project Management Office (RPMO), the Communications & Outreach Team, and the Finance & Research Administration Team. Asia and her teams are responsible for creating comprehensive systems that streamline data collection, reporting, and administrative maintenance for the Office of the Director and RENCI staff. Additionally, Asia oversees the RENCI Service Program activities.

In addition to Asia’s operational role, she serves as an outreach and engagement liaison for RENCI groups and helps to coordinate activities across RENCI, UNC-CH, Duke, and NC State. She also co-leads several large, multi-institutional and/or multi-disciplinary sponsored research and coordination projects, providing leadership in program management, outreach and engagement, and workforce development efforts.
