A new campus project has turned a frequently flooded field near McIver Residence Hall into a small above-ground stream.

Thanks to the efforts of the Fair, Local, Organic Food (FLO) student organization, Carolina Dining Services (CDS), and the Food for All steering committee, UNC has officially committed to increase fair, local, or organic food options in dining halls.

The Smith Center took on a different look during the Jan. 30 men’s basketball game against Boston College. The usual wall-to-wall Carolina Blue was dotted with big pockets of green as students donned bright green T-shirts decorated with the Carolina logo to bring awareness to campus sustainability efforts.
