2025 Earth Month Events

Monday, April 21 | Festival on the Green Roof | Sustainable Carolina & Carolina Dining Services

This year’s annual Earth Day celebration will feature a farm stand and hands-on activities hosted by University departments. A limited number of Earth Day t-shirts will be available for attendees who complete an “Earth Day Passport” at the event. If your unit would like to host an activity, email sustainable@unc.edu.

Earth Day Sustainabili-tee Shirt Contest

For the third year, we’re inviting undergraduate and graduate students to submit designs to be featured on our Earth Day t-shirt design contest The creator of the winning design will receive a $300 VISA gift card.
