Energy Transition Town Hall

The UNC Energy Transition Town Hall will provide a space to update the public on the status of the energy transition at UNC, outline the ways in which the University is actively pursuing the goals of their Climate Action Plan, highlight diversified approaches to an energy transition (e.g. transportation, waste reduction, energy efficiency), and clarify questions surrounding the function and future of the cogeneration plant on Cameron Avenue. The event will be co-hosted by Undergraduate Student Government’s Department of Environmental Affairs, the Renewable Energy Special Projects Committee, UNC’s Climate Crisis Committee and Sustainable Carolina.

CLE credit available for students.
