Earth Day BioBlitz

April 22 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join UNC Bee Campus for an Earth Day BioBlitz! We’ll be at the Battle Grove Stream Restoration at the corner of Battle Lane and Cameron Avenue on Friday, April 22 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We’ll have everything you need for a morning of searching for and identifying pollinators, plants, crustaceans, and amphibians! If you’d like to participate in the citizen science aspect, download the iNaturalist app. In this app, you can record your observations and share them with others.

Members of UNC Grounds, Sustainable Carolina, Transportation and Parking, and The Animal Footprint (a Carolina Center for Public Service Bryan Fellowship team) will be at the event.

About UNC Bee Campus

In 2019, UNC-Chapel Hill became an affiliate member of Bee Campus USA, an initiative that promotes dialogue and awareness of the key role pollinators play in the environment and how we can create better habitats for pollinators to thrive.
